Some of the photo's I have found that has survived the years of poor care.

Mine Field around base, sign on our side of .

Mines poking out of the ground after heavy rains.
Lost a few dogs there.

One of the guys, can not recall his name

Our famous trenches, above ground

Mine Field
Had a thing about the mine field,
sure took a lot of pictures of it.

One of the friendly's, bird watching?

Mr. Eaker
What it has written on slide!

How about a trip to town!

PhuBai Express (Sorry, as light as I can get it) Only seen the train once or twice in 13 months.

PhuBai Trailer Park. Didn't they look nice new? Mess Hall is on left just past the tent.

Don't think that one likes us. Something about we stink.

Orphans at Hue Orphanage. When we first got to PhuBai, we would go into town and try to fix damage done by VC.

Happy Roomies!

Delivery truck on Hwy. 1, PhuBai International Airport in background.
PhuBai International Airport. Load of rice for the locals on a US cargo plane most likely.
There is a mess of thorns to land in.
Christmas at PhuBai. That was a cake in the pan my mom sent. Did not take long for the word to get out. Think he has had more than cake, landing gear was not all the way down.

A girl back home. Hope he got back to that one.
(I was not that lucky to have one waiting on me)

Back side of the trailers. Stage is for past or future USO shows that came to PhuBai. Don't think the guy is one of ours, more like house boy.

One of the USO shows. I had a strobe flash that was so bright, they made a announcment that who ever had the bright flash, please turn it down. It was blinding the people on the stage and they were afraid that someone would fall off into the pack of hungry wolves.
