Both the above photos are of David Noyes, a Korean linguist stationed at A Co in 1962-63. The photos were taken on intercept sites, probably Queen Block.




Both photos above were taken looking out from intercept sites from which A Co. operated. We think the one with the road may be Queen Block, but aren't sure.




The photo above is of an island in the Imjin River, taken from one of the intercept sites and probably looking south.




The photo above is looking north early one foggy morning from King Block.




The photo above is was taken in March or April of 1963 in front of a laundry in one of the back alleys of Yonjukol. Now we all remember seeing strange things when we were in Korea, but nobody seems to know why the woman is wearing a paper bag on her head. If anybody has any ideas, please e-mail me.
